California Fourth DUI Conviction Details
A Fourth or Higher California DUI Conviction within ten (10) years from your last DUI becomes a Felony, a more serious crime, which carries jail time of 180 days up to four years; a fine of at least $390 and up to $1,000; and a minimum driver’s license revocation of 5 years.
For a third or higher offense California DUI, a refusal to take a BAC test adds 18 days of jail time to your sentence, which must be served.
Note: In California, it is illegal for any person who is addicted to the use of any drug to drive a vehicle, unless the person is participating in an approved narcotic treatment program.
