Two Vehicle Traffic Crash Leaves One Person Dead
Details:
The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two vehicle crash that occurred in the 11000 Block of Wayne Trace.
At approximately 6:19 a.m., Wednesday March 30th, 2011, a white 1999 Chevrolet Blazer was west bound on Monroeville Road.
A silver 1998 Chevrolet Malibu was stopped (northbound) at the intersection of Monroeville Road and Wayne Trace.
The silver Malibu pulled out from the stop sign and struck the white Chevrolet Blazer causing the Blazer to roll over.
The male white in the white Blazer was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The white male driver of the silver Malibu was treated and released at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
The identity of the deceased along with the manner and cause of death will be released by the Allen County Coroners Office.
