Fatal Crash investigators are working to identify the hit and run driver who struck a man as he crossed the 2100 block of Buena Vista Pike Tuesday evening.
Witnesses reported that the pedestrian, Edward Jennings, 50, ran into the roadway and was struck by a westbound black Nissan Maxima at 5:15 p.m. The driver did not stop and continued to travel westbound toward Clarksville Pike. Jennings, of Hydesdale Lane, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died Wednesday.
