Updated location for fatal hit and run collision in Pacoima area
Valley Traffic Detectives are asking for the public's help in providing any information regarding a fatal hit and run collision that occurred in the 12000 block of Mercer Street in Pacoima.
On February 11, 2011 a grey pickup truck with damage to the tailgate area was travelling eastbound Mercer Street and collided with three children and an adult crossing the street northbound. The children received moderate injuries, however the 28 year old female adult, Maria Pena, a Pacoima resident, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The LAPD is looking for a male hispanic with spiked hair who was driving the grey pick-up.
